Earlier this year, Google’s John Mueller, responding to a question on whether Wix was superior to WordPress for technical SEO, gave an eye opening response that reflects the emerging reality that it is the quality of a website’s content that is the primary deciding factor in whether or not a page ranks well in Google’s organic search results.
And, while SEO supporting features are certainly important in evaluating whether or not to use a Software As A Service (SAAS) website hosting provide like Wix instead of the traditional server-based model of WordPress, there is a lot more to consider before making such a choice, especially if you are just starting up an online-oriented business or organization.
